Fibroblast Treatment

Avoid costly and potentially risky cosmetic surgeries such as eyelid correction. Fibroblast is a new revolutionary non surgical lift treatment that is a highly effective, remarkable alternative to surgery.

Some of the conditions that may be treated by Fibroblast include eyelid lifting and eyelid tightening, wrinkle reduction, neck tightening, reduction of the upper lip wrinkles and stretch marks and scars.

Fibroblast technicians use different patterns to ensure maximum effect of the procedure.

What is it?

Purebeau Fibroblast treatment is a non-surgical lift procedure giving the same results as traditional surgery. It is safe and bloodless, without the need for anesthesia. Fibroblast is virtually painless with anesthetic applied locally prior to treatment. This innovative technique will not cause overlifting. Only the excess skin is affected during the procedure. Patients are able to notice results right away although it takes 2-4 weeks for full effects to be visible. Fibroblast procedure may only be performed by the certified specialist.

How does it work?

The Fibroblast device uses plasma, an ionized gas between the tip of the tool and the patients skin. During the procedure electric arc forms, referred to as a plasma flash or mini lightning, touch the surface of the skin causing tissue to retract. This is known as sublimation, or the process of turning solids directly to gas. Targeted tissue sublimates, therefore no damage happens to surrounding areas or deeper skin layers. Patients can resume regular activities right away with minimal discomfort.

How is it performed?

When activated, the Fibroblast tool creates a plasma flash which travels from the tool's tip to the treated area. The tool itself never touches the skin however the plasma flash creates a tiny dot upon the contact area. This causes tightening of the skin fibers. Only the surface of the skin is affected and deeper layers known as the basal lamina are not affected. This is a non-invasive treatment, which means no cuts to the skin or stitching is necessary. Fibroblast is completely bloodless and without unnecessary damages to the surrounding tissue.

Is a consultation required?

Yes, anyone interested in Fibroblast procedure is required to have a face-to-face consultation. Careful assessment by the technicians at Beautiful You by Christine will ensure the right treatment plan is made for you. Multiple factors affect the aging process. Each person and treated area is different and needs to be determined individually. Our goal is to keep our clients informed and meet or exceed their expectations.

How long is the procedure?

To minimize any discomfort, numbing cream will be applied to the treatment area. Afterwards it will take 30 minutes for anesthetic to take affect. The procedure itself takes between 15-30 minutes depending on the size of the treated area. Your appointment should not take longer then an hour.

Does the treatment hurt?

Because this is a non-surgical treatment, there is no pain or minimal discomfort reported by patients. Topical cream is applied to numb the treated area prior to procedure. Immediately after the treatments the skin will be reddened and lightly swollen. This will usually last up to 3 days, although slight redness may remain for up to 2 weeks. Durning the procedure carbon crusts will form on the skin directly where the Fibroblast tool was used. Crusts should not be touched for 5-7 days however post-procedure foundation can be used to camouflage them. Purebeau offers specific Fibroblast Powder in two variations for either lighter or darker skin complexions. To minimize complications you will be informed on proper aftercare steps following the procedure.

Are there any side effects after the treatment?

Side effects are rare but infection, scarring and temporary change of skin pigmentation may occur. Carbon crusts, tiny superficial dots which form directly on the skin are part of the healing process, and when correctly treated with after-cream will cause no threat and fall off 5-7 days after treatment. Mild swelling is expected during first 3 days and is usually entirely gone by day 5. The majority of our patients do not report any of those after a week.

Are there any specific after recommendations?

Yes! It is very important to follow our after care recommendations. Carbon crusts CANNOT be scratched or removed. Drying skin by dabbing it with a clean, lint-free cloth is allowed. Purebeau Aftercare balm should be reapplied to the area. Healing skin should be protected from direct sun with SPF50 cream. Sports, swimming and sauna activities are not permitted until crusts fall off. This should happen within 7 days of the procedure.

Should I watch for any unusual complications?

Fibroblast is very safe but in some rare occasions complications may occur. Please inform your Fibroblast specialist immediately in case of any unusual symptoms. This may include signs of infection such as excessive redness, pus, blistering or thick, yellow crust forming in treatment area.

Can I use cosmetics after the procedure?

The treatment skin area will be covered with carbon crusts which form during the treatment. They should not be rubbed off therefore it is necessary to avoid any moisturizing creams for 5-7 days. This is when crusts usually fall off. In addition patients need to avoid all direct heat sources such as sun, UV radiation, saunas etc for the period of at least 4 weeks.

How should I prepare for the treatment?

There are no specific requirements before the treatment. We suggest not to apply any cosmetics before the procedure. You should tell your practitioner about any recent medical conditions and medications taken. Mention any surgeries or aesthetic procedures performed currently on your skin.

Are the full effects of the Fibroblast procedure visible right away?

Most patients should notice the effect of the procedure right away. However the healing will continue and the full result should be visible within 2-4 weeks. In some cases patients may need more then one treatment. This depends on the treatment area and skin condition as well as patient's expectations.

How many treatments are required?

In some cases just one treatment may be sufficient, especially with lighter corrections. Many of the treatments will depend on the size of the treated area and customer's desired degree of correction. full effect of the first treatment will be visible after 2-4 weeks following the procedure. If the patient requires additional treatment to achieve optimal results those should be scheduled at 6 to 8 week intervals. Effectiveness of Fibroblast non-surgical lift is comparable to traditional techniques. In order to evaluate number of required procedures and choosing the best treatment, planning face-to-face consultation is required.

How long does the effect of the treatment last?

The treatment should last long term rather then a few months although it is hard to predict exactly. Aging is a dynamic process and there are many factors affecting patients individually. Lifestyle, diet and genetics are just a few to mention. As of today permanent results are not possible, and after Fibroblast procedure or traditional surgery your skin will be subject to aging. Your skin will continue to relax (loosen) again. In some rare situations aging may be accelerated and effectiveness of Fibroblast would be shortened. A Beautiful You by Christine technician will discuss those conditions, so patients will have a better understanding of what to expect.
